Customer story / Oklahoma cannabis sales

How Envy Farms turned a planned sales day into a $1,400 order

Ricardo found a dispensary customer through Knockwell, picked up the phone and worked the opportunity through an appointment, samples and an order.

The text Ricardo sent was short:

“First sale completed through Knockwell from start to finish.”

— Ricardo, Envy Farms

He was talking about a new dispensary customer he had found while using Knockwell to plan his sales day in Oklahoma. When asked whether the lead had come from Knockwell, he explained:

“Yes I used Knockwell to even find this customer when it planned out one of my days at the beginning of testing”

— Ricardo, in the same text conversation

A call came first. Then an appointment.

After finding the customer, Ricardo called. That call led to an appointment. At the appointment, he dropped off samples. After receiving the samples, the dispensary proceeded with an order.

  5. 05Get the order

From starting with the app to getting that first order, the process took four weeks. The order was worth $1,400.

It wasn’t a perfectly straight line. In his text, Ricardo mentioned that packaging had held things up. The sale still took the work of contacting the buyer, arranging a meeting and getting samples in front of them.

Two customers. Two orders.

Ricardo has now used that process with two different dispensaries. The first order was $1,400. The second was $1,800, bringing the combined order value to $3,200.

These were orders from two separate customers, each reached through the same call, appointment and sample process.

Start with someone to call

For a cannabis sales rep, a plan becomes useful when it turns into something you can actually do: call this buyer, make this visit, get these samples into someone’s hands.

In Ricardo’s case, Knockwell helped him find a customer while planning his day. He took it from there: a call, an appointment, samples and an order. Then he ran the process with another customer.

That is the kind of sales day Knockwell is built to support—knowing who to reach out to and having a next step to work toward.
